Lectromec has an ISO 17025:2005 certified lab. What value does that bring to you? What impact will it have for testing aircraft electrical systems?
This two minute video gives an answer: the ISO designation means Lectromec cares about quality. You can trust the results when you have your aircraft electrical system or component tested by Lectromec.
The International Standards Organization (ISO) was formed in 1947. The ISO 17025:2005 designation means that representatives with accreditation authority from ISO have physically visited the facility and conducted thorough investigations to see if the individuals, equipment, and processes comply with accepted procedures. Once that is accomplished, the laboratory earns the right to display the designation ISO.
The ISO designation ensures that Lectromec is committed to continuous improvement and will provide you with repeatable, traceable results.
ISO/IEC 17025 is a set of requirements for test laboratories and is the main ISO standard used by testing and calibration laboratories. In the component/equipment certification world, suppliers and regulatory authorities will not accept tests from an unaccredited lab.
