Air Leakage

Air leakage testing evaluates the integrity of hermetic and environmental seals on electrical connectors. At minimum, a 1 atmosphere pressure differential will be applied across the connector under test, and a detector is used to measure any leakage at the seal. The applied pressurized air/gas shall contain not less than 10% helium by volume.
