Analysis of 2016 EWIS Failures of the US Commercial Aircraft Fleet … and How to Improve


This 12 page white paper takes a close look at wire system failures in the US commercial airline fleet and proposes methods to improve the wire system reliability.

As Lectromec does once every couple years, we have gone through the FAA service difficulty reporting (SDR) system to determine the number of EWIS failures in the American commercial airline fleet.
